Drop string length limitations for PostgreSQL

Description

The PostgreSQL database doesn't perform better, when limiting the length of "character varying".

The documentation states:

...
While character has performance advantages in some other database systems, there is no such advantage in PostgreSQL; in fact character is usually the slowest of the three because of its additional storage costs. In most situations text or character varying should be used instead.

So unless it is required by some code please drop the limitation in favor of performance.
